We remove tree waste after the cutting is finished. If an arborist, tree service or storm has left you with branches, logs and debris, our crew loads the lot and takes it away for green waste recycling. To be direct about the boundary: we do not cut or fell trees, and we are not arborists. Tree work needs a qualified arborist. Once the material is on the ground, that is where we come in.
What We Do and What We Do Not Do
This is worth being completely clear about, because the two services get confused constantly.
What an arborist does: assesses the tree, obtains council approval where it is needed, climbs or accesses the tree, and cuts it down or prunes it safely. This is licensed, insured, high-risk work.
What we do: turn up once the material is on the ground and take it away. Branches, offcuts, logs, leaf litter, bark and stumps that have already been removed from the ground.
If your tree is still standing, engage an arborist first. Many of them cut but do not cart, which is exactly why this page exists — plenty of our tree waste jobs are the second half of someone else's work.

The tree service cut but did not clear
Some tree contractors quote for the cut only, leaving the customer with a yard full of timber. We clear it.
After a storm
Fallen branches and wind damage across the lawn, driveway or fence line. Once anything dangerous has been made safe, we take the debris.
After a DIY prune
A weekend with a pole saw produces a surprising pile. We take it away rather than leaving you feeding it into the green bin for a month.

Stumps, Logs and Root Balls
Tree waste is heavier than most people expect, and that affects how a job is quoted. A trailer-load of green clippings and a trailer-load of hardwood trunk sections are not the same job at all.
We take:
- Branches, offcuts and brush
- Logs and trunk sections, cut to a manageable size
- Stumps that have already been dug or ground out
- Root balls and the soil attached to them
- Leaf litter, bark and mulch
What we cannot do is extract a stump that is still in the ground — that is stump grinding, another specialist job. Once it is out, it is ours.
Where the Waste Goes
Clean tree waste is green waste, and green waste gets processed into mulch and compost rather than buried. We keep tree loads separate from general rubbish for exactly that reason. Where a load is mixed with fencing, soil or building material we sort what we can before it goes to a transfer station.

Do you cut down trees?
No. We are not arborists and we do not do tree work. We remove the waste once the tree or branches are already down.
Can you take a stump?
Yes, once it is out of the ground. We cannot grind or extract a stump that is still rooted — that is a stump grinding job.
What if the tree came down in a storm?
We clear storm debris once it is safe to approach. If anything is on a powerline or a structure, get that made safe first.

Yes, cut to a size that can be carried. Mention large hardwood sections when you book so we bring the right truck.
