Working in School Holidays
The holidays are when this work has to happen, and that creates a scheduling squeeze — every school with a clear-out wants the same two weeks, and the site has to be usable again on day one of term.
Book early if you can. Tell us the window and what needs to be gone by the end of it, and we will size the crew to the deadline rather than spreading it over visits you do not have time for.
Where work has to happen during term, we can schedule outside school hours so there is no crew moving heavy furniture around children.
Child Safety and Site Requirements
Education and care sites have requirements that other jobs do not. Depending on the site and the timing, that can include Working With Children checks for anyone on site, sign-in procedures, induction, and restrictions on which areas can be accessed while children are present.
Tell us your site's requirements at the enquiry stage so we can confirm what we need in place before the day. Where children are present, we work in a sectioned-off area or outside hours.
Donation and Reuse
Schools and centres throw out a great deal that still has life in it — chairs, tables, shelving, sports gear and books. Where items are serviceable and we can place them, they are offered for donation rather than going to a transfer station.
If your site has a preferred charity or a community group that wants first refusal, tell us and we will set that material aside.
