Standard Fasteners: There is no need to spend time removing staples, paper clips, or small bulldog clips; our equipment is designed to process these.

Folders and Dividers: Standard manila folders and cardstock dividers are perfectly fine to include.

Envelopes: All standard envelopes are accepted, including those with plastic address windows.
A quick note on Lever Arch Folders: To ensure we meet recycling standards, we ask that you please remove the paper from any large lever arch folders. The heavy metal components in these folders are better suited for general waste or separate metal recycling.
if more labour or sorting on site is required we can offer a labour rate starting at $75 per hour to get your documents sorted out on site .
Items Not Accepted in Security Bins
To maintain the security of our process and comply with recycling standards, please ensure the following items are not placed in your document destruction bins:

Lever Arch Folders: The heavy-duty metal and thick cardboard components are not suitable for paper shredding equipment.

Hardcover Books: Rigid covers (such as those on diaries or textbooks) can damage the shredding blades.

Plastic Sleeves and Pockets: High volumes of plastic pockets interfere with the paper recycling process.

Batteries & Electronics: Items containing lithium-ion batteries (e.g., old greeting cards, toys, or devices) are a major fire hazard and must be kept out of all bins.

Hard Media: USB drives, CDs, and hard drives require a specialized destruction process and cannot be mixed with paper.

While OTG Rubbish Removals can assist with the removal of the items listed above, please be aware of the following:

General Rubbish Fees: Any non-paper waste or contaminated bins will be processed as general waste and will incur our standard rubbish removal fees.We also offer full commercial rubbish removal solutions in Sydney and can structure full packages to ensure secure document destruction and full removal of office furniture , chairs, tables , whiteboards , office partitions , photocopiers and more .

Security Guarantee: We provide a Certificate of Destruction for paper and authorized media only. We cannot guarantee secure destruction for items placed in general rubbish or for sensitive documents mixed with general waste.
We also offer e waste bins for collections of computers , hard drives , printers , monitors and laptops .
E waste bins start from $190 per 240 litre bin
please note to wipe your of data clean harddrives if you would like a secure wiping of each hard drive we charge $25 per hard drive or if you would like it shredded its $35 per drive
extra recording of serial numbers of harddrives is $5 per drive
